Introduction: Cushing’s syndrome is a rare (0.004%) hormonal disorder, which develops due to hypercortisolaemia. Cushing’s disease refers to a corticothroph cell pituitary tumour overproducing ACTH, which induces abnormally increased cortisol production from the adrenal glands.
